Differentiate of linear equations from quadratic equations

here is an example of a linear equation : 2x + 3y + 4z + 7 = n here is an example of a quadratic equation : 1x^2 + 2x + 3 = n linear equations all have the same exponential value but can use different variables quadratic equations use different exponential values of one variable. there might be more to define them, but that is my understanding.
