OpenStudy (abhisar):

It occurs due to errors in replication

OpenStudy (somy):

base sequence is changed and this leads to formation of different amino acid, which leads to formation of protein which will malfunction/ not function/ do a different function, which is usually a bad thing

OpenStudy (abhisar):

yes all that @Somy said can happen due to errors occured while replication and effect of some mutagens like UV rays

OpenStudy (somy):

yeah lol @Abhisar
