Find the distance between (4, 6) and (-2, -2).

OpenStudy (amistre64):

you can either use the formula for distance, or move the points around first, then pythag it

OpenStudy (amistre64):

since i tend to place wring numbers in the wrong spots, i move things, lets move it so that -2-2 = 0 0, (4, 6) and (-2, -2). 2 2 2 2 ---------------- 6, 8 0, 0 so the question becomes, are far is the point 6,8 from the origin?
