'cause sometimes we need more than words to explain things .. when we're communicating we are sending 2 messages .. the 1st is verbal ( talk ) & the 2nd is nonverbal ( using hands , eyes , lips , colors ... ) so sometimes it can explain what talk can't ... for example .. the hands are used as a signal for deaf and dumb .. or we put the index on the mouth to tell someone "stop talking " .. theses are some example which show why the nonverbal communication is used a lot .. ^__^
