What are the range values of the function f(x) = -3x2 + 5 for the domain values {-2, 0, 1}? My answer choices are f: {5, 8, 17} g: {-7, 2, 5} h: {-31, -4, 5} j: {5, 14, 41} Will become a fan of anyone who answers!

OpenStudy (kirbykirby):

the range of values are essentially the values f(x) that you obtain once you plug in the values of your domain

OpenStudy (kirbykirby):

so basically plug in x = -2, 0 and 1 and see what f(x) gives, this will be your range

Thank you!
