OpenStudy (anonymous):

why is oxyheamoglobin an unstable compound and where is this useful Medal + Fan Thanks :')

OpenStudy (abhisar):

It is useful in process of breathing

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and whre is it useful?

OpenStudy (abhisar):

Oxyhaemoglobin is a compound formed when haemoglobin binds with oxygen. The bond between the Haem group (Fe^+2) and oxygen is very weak and reversible. Due to this reason oxyhaemoglobin is very unstable compound

OpenStudy (abhisar):

This unstability of oxyhaemoglobin is useful for us because it allows the blood to bind oxygen and donate it reversibly
