is this multiple choice ?

yeah

a. formed the Indian Territory. b. settled east of the Mississippi. c. settled in farming villages. d. were weakened or destroyed.

Okay well I would go with D For A: They didn't form an Indian territory, the United States formed one for them to live in. For B: They were already kicked out of the east. For C: Most Plain Indians were Nomadic, and they said, "We live with and follow the Buffalo" So Settling is something they wouldn't do, plus The United States would never give them fertile ground. for D: once people started to move west the Indians started to lose more and more land, until they started to fight and then surrender to the United States and live on Reservations. Hope this helps
