Vf=Vi*t+a*t, is not the correct equation, get rid of the t multiplying the Vi L/T=(L/T)*T+(L/T^2)*T, cancel out the T/T L/T=(L)+(L/T) Vf=Vi*t+a*t, is not a dimensionally correct statement Vf=Vi+a*t is.
