Ok, well sine you have a -5 and a -10 on the right side of the equation, you can add them together to get -15. I would leave the -15 where it is and leave the -7x where it is on the left side and just move the -8. You would move it by adding it to both sides to get -7x = -15 + 8 which is -7x = 7. Divide by -7 and get x = -1. Do you see how I did that?
