OpenStudy (haseeb96):

what about c and d options...? give me reason because i also don't know....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

y wud the outer surface contract? there is no logic

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Glass, ordinary 0.0025 cal/sec ,so it would take a long time to transfer heat. Thus the inner surface will expand rapidly than outer surface and the answer is A as Abhishek1997 said. No contraction would occur as no decreasing in temperature. http://hyperphysics.phy-astr.gsu.edu/hbase/tables/thrcn.html
