Exponential Function help?

OpenStudy (bruno102):

\[3(5)^{2x-3}=6\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

divide by 3 and start with \[5^{2x-3}=2\] then use the change of base formula to get \[2x-3=\frac{\ln(2)}{\ln(5)}\] then solve for \(x\)

OpenStudy (bruno102):

Would that mean it is x=1.72? @satellite73
