@Juicstice can u help me?
the length of one side of a square is 7.6 inches. what would that make the area to be
so a square has four sides that are all equal. the area of a square is length x width
i knoe but here is the thing (next comment)
i multiply 7.6*4 because there are 4 sides, and it is not ANY of the answers they put out for me. answers are: A.3364 in2 B.7.6 in2 C.58 in2 D.29 in2
area=length*width
no the area is length x width. that would be how you find the parameter
here length=width
4?
if i wanted to find perimeter i would add 7.6+7.6+7.6+7.6 @Juicstice
length=7.6 width=7.6
that is the same thing as multiplying it by 4
just multiply 7.6x7.6 and you'll get the answer like that
CORRECT @Juicstice @shamim I am sorry to say but that that is not part of the answers (last time yo said 4.) did you mean multiply it by 4? and i will try that @Juicstice
7.6+7.6+7.6+7.6 is the exact same thing as 7.6x4
And the result was 57.76. am i suppose to round it to 58??? and technicly you are telling me that all i should do is square 7.6
correct?
yes you round it. and you can only square it if it is a square any other shape it will be wrong.
lol ok thank you Juicstice ~Legolas Greenleaf
no problem
