I still have d for this.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

then i have this

OpenStudy (sweetburger):

find the area of each shape and then add them all together

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and this but we can do all diff q's.

OpenStudy (marissalovescats):

Surface area = bh + (S1+ S2 + S3)H where b=Triangle base h=Triangle height S1=Side 1 of triangle S2=Side 2 of triangle S3=Side 3 of triangle H=Prism height

OpenStudy (marissalovescats):

When you did part a what did you get for side d?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

100 right? in 1-a?

OpenStudy (marissalovescats):

No that's definitely not it lol You have to find the hypotenuse for the triangle (AKA side d) So you use the Pythagorean Theorem

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no take root of 100

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol i'm seriously not kidding I don't understand math. Kill me but I just don't get it.

OpenStudy (marissalovescats):

I'll show you, it's okay

OpenStudy (marissalovescats):

@aajugdar I got it from here, thanks I've been working with her for a bit now

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sure

OpenStudy (marissalovescats):

|dw:1401945926949:dw| So this shows us that side d equals 10
