a machine consisting of a 50 kg cylinder with radius 0.2m connected to a crank with a length of 0.5 m is used to raise objects. The objects are lifted by a rope connected to the cylinder of negligible mass. The system is also aided by a 50 kg counterweight also connected to the cylinder by a rope of negligible mass. If the mechanism is used to raised an 80 kg mass at 2 m/s^2 what is the amount of force with must be applied to the crank?
