Find the perimeter of the shape below: A four sided figure JKLM is shown. J is located at negative 3, 4. K is located at negative 1, 6. L is located at 1, 1. M is located at negative 1, 3 9.4 units 11.5 units 13.3 units 15 units
HELP ME IM BEHIND IN GEOMETRY
@ganeshie8
negative 3, 4 means (-3,4)?
ok
J (-3,4) K (-1,6) L (1,1) M (-1,3) You can plot a graph of them to guide you. Then you should calculate the vectors, JK=K-J KL=L-K LM=M-L MJ=J-M And then calculate the modulus of each vector. This will give you the length you need to find the perimeter. Try it.
What do u mean by vectors
Well, if you don't know vectors, then you should find an alternative way. For example, plot the figure in a graph, and use the pithagorean theorem to find the length of each side.
Ok is my answer B
Hello @John_ES
I think that is not ehe right answer, the right answer is C.
