Solve, using either the substitution method or elimination method. m + n = 5 m – n = 3

OpenStudy (sleepyhead314):

what method would you like to use?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

substitution

OpenStudy (sleepyhead314):

alright, so first isolate a variable from one of the equations so like m = n + 3 then plug n+3 for m into m + n = 5

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay.

OpenStudy (sleepyhead314):

can you tell me what you have so far?
