So say she sells 5 bracelets. you would add 9+9+9+9+9 You can change that into multiplication saying 9 times 5 or 9*5. with variables putting the variable next to the number means multiplication. so your really saying 9*n or 9 * how many bracelets she sold Hoped this helped
