OpenStudy (veeveeniko):

Would someone help me solve this problem? I know how to do part of it but I'm stuck.

OpenStudy (veeveeniko):

OpenStudy (juicstice):

tell me what you know

OpenStudy (juicstice):

I;m just going to draw the picture on here

OpenStudy (veeveeniko):

so far I have 5x-2y=4 5x-2y+2y=4+2y 5x=4+2y 5x/5=4+2y/5 x=4+2y/5

OpenStudy (veeveeniko):

that's what i got so far.

OpenStudy (juicstice):

okay you actually messed up in that equation I'll clear things up. if you are going to divide 5 from both sides then it also applies to the 4 as well

OpenStudy (veeveeniko):

okay so instead it would be x=(4+2y)/5?

OpenStudy (juicstice):

yes

OpenStudy (veeveeniko):

Now I'm not sure where to go with this.

OpenStudy (juicstice):

hold on let me get some paper to make this easier for me

OpenStudy (juicstice):

I'm sorry this is a bit different then I thought it would be and this is random but you look just like someone I know

OpenStudy (veeveeniko):

Do I?

OpenStudy (veeveeniko):

and sorry that it's different than what you thought :/

OpenStudy (juicstice):

yeah you do it's scary. I'm sorry that I can't figure it out

OpenStudy (veeveeniko):

It's fine, don't worry about, thanks for what you've done thus far.

OpenStudy (juicstice):

wait I got it

OpenStudy (juicstice):

I wish I could take a picture of what I'm writing becaue I can't relly draw it very well
