helppp

OpenStudy (somy):

this is the question

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Work done by the car in moving distance 's' = Input energy = F *s Gain in potential energy =Output energy = mgs sin alpha Efficiency = output/input = mgsin alpha/F

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I actually got to understand till that point but my question is why is that you are multiplying the weight with the angle?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

for the output energy I mean

OpenStudy (anonymous):

gain in potential energy = mass * height * g |dw:1401987803507:dw|

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ohh ok and the input?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

isnt it work done? (f x d)?

OpenStudy (somy):

wait Gpe= mgh this is what u r using?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

correct = f*s

OpenStudy (somy):

why F*s is input but not output?

OpenStudy (somy):

gooot it :D

OpenStudy (somy):

thnx!! @thushananth01
