Which is the source of the distilled fuel known as gasoline? A. petroleum B. wood C. alcohol D. coal
coal
I actually looked this up two days ago. :) LUcky for you haha
a
How is it a?
coal : a combustible black or dark brown rock consisting mainly of carbonized plant matter, found mainly in underground deposits and widely used as fuel.
Petroleum was discovered back in the early break of the second industrial revolution but they couldn't find a way to use it because quite frankly it burns very quickly until Jean Lenoir found a use for it to power an engine but that wasn't safe so Karl Benz invented the first practical one and used it on his Benz Patent Motor Wagen (< yes that's how it's spelled it's German)

petroleum or coal @Jaydenthequiet
did you click on the link
yes i dont get it
Petroleum is recovered mostly through oil drilling. This comes after the studies of structural geology (at the reservoir scale), sedimentary basin analysis, reservoir characterization (mainly in terms of the porosity and permeability of geologic reservoir structures).[5][6] It is refined and separated, most easily by boiling point, into a large number of consumer products, from gasoline (petrol) and kerosene to asphalt and chemical reagents used to make plastics and pharmaceuticals.[7] Petroleum is used in manufacturing a wide variety of materials,[8] and it is estimated that the world consumes about 90 million barrels each day.
petroleum or coal
I've read it and it is Petroleum, coal is powering electric cars

Coal indirectly powers electric cars because it's still a large source of U.S. electricity.
