if it's specified as 'in living organisms', then the answer could be 'bio-catalyst' or 'enzyme'. but 'catalyst' is not wrong =)

For general purposes, just say catalyst, because that includes everything. both organic and inorganic, types.

@issycastin I suspect the answer wanted is enzyme, but the way the question is written it is too vague for that. Enzymes are organic molecules made of amino acids. Catalysts are simple, mostly inorganic molecules. Both are not used up in the reaction and return to the state they were in before functioning in a reaction.
