OpenStudy (cherry17ann):

@nikato

OpenStudy (nikato):

have you tried doing it yet?

OpenStudy (cherry17ann):

Yes, I tried it while we were doing the other problem... I got a totally different answer from any of them.....

OpenStudy (acxbox22):

an easier way of finding surface are is first find the perimeter of the base then multiply that by the height of the prism(later surface area) then add the area of the 2 bases to get the total surface area

OpenStudy (nikato):

you can start by fidning the area of the two triangles

OpenStudy (acxbox22):

so it would be SA=((5+5+8) x 10)+ 2(8 x 3/2)

OpenStudy (cherry17ann):

So 204?

OpenStudy (acxbox22):

yes good job
