Helppp pleaseee :)

Refer to the illustrations to answer the following question.\ Which of the diagrams shows the correct pathway of the electrical signal (action potential) through a neuron? answers: C A B??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@youngashhhh C.

OpenStudy (koikkara):

Hai Sweet Friend, @youngashhhh WelcoMe To OpeN studY !! @mrdoldum Do u have a strong evidence to support your answer ? Well, If I say its wrong then ...?

OpenStudy (aaronq):

I agree with @Koikkara. @mrdoldum if you're going to answer questions, then explain your reasoning with a least a sentence. No one benefits from giving out straight answers, and you're encouraging laziness from the person you're trying to help.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Koikkara @aaronq Most of the questions on this website can be answered in less than 10 seconds via a search engine, so I don't see how I am encouraging the "laziness" of an already lazy cohort. I would point out that these types of questions reveal the foolishness of their poster—it takes less time to find the answer on a search engine than it does to ask a question on here and wait for an answer. Maybe you could also go look up why it is right or wrong, and post an explanation instead of complaining. Regardless, C is correct because the action potential of neurons proceeds from dendrites to axon terminals.

OpenStudy (koikkara):

@mrdoldum Hmm...possible, but will search engines explain to you word by word ? In this case, when the person finds a solution he may have trouble in understanding various terms used in the definition or the answer. And to understand those words again u have to go for search engines, by then the person who explains in OS takes only few sec to make the asker understand... To make the explanation more understandable, consider this example Example: Aliyyoo, Sugamanno ? Can u search these terms in google and say what it means?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Koikkara I agree with you for many things, but not on this one. The results will clearly indicate direction with arrows, just the same as the question. Dendrites are the projections from the "core" part of the cell that has the nucleus (the larges part of the cell). The axon terminals are at the end of the single, very long projection that in this case, has the sheaths around it. These axon terminals would send the signal to the next neuron's dendrites and so fourth, propagating the signal along the entire pathway.

OpenStudy (koikkara):

Ofcourse They Are, I said you are wrong, so as to make the asker search for the answer considering your answer as a hint for his question, its first point. Second one, When u say the reason or the statement which support the answer as a strong evidence, it just makes the asker to byheart it without thinking what it is. Hope U understands from my view ! @mrdoldum

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Koikkara Yes I do, and I admit that a bit of "teacher grumpiness" gets unintentionally inserted into my comments. You see, I do teach labs courses for intro biology, biodiversity, microbiology (just depends on the semester), and get annoyed, as all teachers do, with the students that never put any effort into anything. As such, I frequently put less effort into the answers of those that put less effort into understanding and learning. Fortunately, even though these "lazy" students outnumber the motivated ones, it only takes one motivated student that really cares about learning to make you feel like you have succeeded.

OpenStudy (koikkara):

@mrdoldum Thanks for sharing a brief introduction about your wealthy thoughts. Ofcourse God gave everyone his gift of wealth and knowledge, Unfortunately he forgot to teach humans how to use them. Being a leader as a teacher/professor with Sincerity you can guide your students to challenge the lazy persons and be a hero among your society, which motivates more students to act like you turning into a fruitful future. Recently, I'm giving coaching in biology and aptitude for engineering graduates across India through social sites envisaging personal growth and carrier development for myself and others ! You are not alone, there are people who work Honestly ! Wish you The Best for Your Future !
