Divide f(x) by x^2 (because it is a quadratic variation) and list it as the third row. What do you get for the third row?

OpenStudy (ranga):

Quadratic variation means: f(x) = k * x^2 where k is a numerical constant. When x = 2, f(x) = 28. Substitute in f(x) = k * x^2 and solve for k. Make sure the rest of the table agrees with the k you found.
