can some one plz help me...Banks cannot provide amortization schedules to borrowers. A) true B) false

Miracrown (miracrown):

hmm that sounds false.. aren't they required to provide the schedule when you're getting a mortgage or something that involves it?

Miracrown (miracrown):

it probably varies by the country but at least in the USA I know most of them provide it with info on how much total interest you'll pay and such

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i was thinking it was false since the chapter says "Often when you take out a mortgage loan, you receive an amorttization schedule from the company that holds your mortgage". so with that said, company is the key point. is the bank considered the company in the question?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you for the help by the way

Miracrown (miracrown):

yeah either a bank, credit union, or other companies that specialize in just mortgages

OpenStudy (anonymous):

in that case its true

Miracrown (miracrown):

it'd be false since it says they "cannot" provide one

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ahahah your are right, sorry and thank you :) are you good at business by any chance? since i did have a few other questions?
