What do you mean by zero, positive and negative acceleration
zero acceleration = the body is at rest , positive = body is in uniform motion in same direction , negative = when brakes are applied then its acceleration vector is directed in opposite side of its motion ; also known as retardation
@manasrokze zero acceleration doesn't mean that the body is at rest.
rather it means that the body's speed is constant during the motion.
also you're wrong with another interpretations. the positive acceleration would mean that the body's increasing its speed at a constant rate and that of the negative acceleration would mean that the body's decreasing its speed during the motion.
i have mentioned that positive acceleration means body is in uniform motion which is also equals to constant rate.... and in negative too mentioned the correct.... and 0 acceleration means that the body is neither in +ve acceleration nor in -ve which means it is in rest position.
so you're completely wrong! make sure you're already qualified before you're going to give help.
Your thought might be wrong..!
what do you mean by 'rest position'??????????
Rest position means initial velocity ( u ) = 0
the body is not involved in any type of motion
whatever you mean it is not held in the case of a zero acceleration.
a zero acceleration makes the body speeds at a constant rate|dw:1402076910215:dw|
