I think you're being asked to write \(\cos^3x\) and \(\sin^3x\) as Fourier series, and you'll find that the series are only two terms long.

Find the Fourier representation of the first two trig functions, then find the Fourier rep for \(\cos^4x\). That's how I would interpret these directions.
