So a horizontal line has the equation \[\large y = \] Now this is true because it will ALWAYS have a y-intercept...but never an x-intercept...seen by looking at y = 1 for example |dw:1402094743932:dw| it goes through the y-axis at y = 1

So for example...since as you can see the horizontal line will ONLY go through 1 point on the y-axis...it needs to be at the point in your coordinate (-8 , 8) Means this point is at -8 on the x-axis...and at 8 on the y-axis....so since we can only go through 1 point on the y-axis...we need to make that point 8 |dw:1402094846385:dw| and that line is indeed \(\large y = 8\)
