Yes exactly right @Somy But you probably get 2.4 N right? When you have pin X in the middle of the elastic, it basically divides the elastic into two: the part from X to Y, and the part from X to Z. The tension in EACH of these components in 4 N, which means EACH component contributes 2.4 N in the direction P. This is where the 4.8 N comes from.
