I'm not sure that why didn't you receive the verification email.

Also, search your mail for : notifier@openstudy.com 

Verify that you gave the correct email address.

When you double check your email address, highlight the entire address.  The highlight should begin/end right at the edge of the letters.  It it doesn't a whitespace character may have gotten in there.  I see this frequently in my logs at work.
