Each number from one to 10 is written on an identical slip of paper. All of the slips of paper are placed in a bag. 2/10 2/8 1/4 1/5 What is the theoretical probability of picking a slip of paper that has a multiple of four on it?

OpenStudy (aaronq):

from 1 to 10, there are 2 multiples of 4, \(\{4,8\}\). So two options you can pick form 10 pieces of paper so the probability of getting a multiple of 4 is \(\dfrac{2}{10}\) or \(\dfrac{1}{5}\)
