I'm a really fast reader but I'm never really able to gain comprehension from the text. Is there anyway I could understand information more clearly then just reading words? What questions should I ask myself so I could understand? I'm not sure if this is meant to be in English or Literature, so I just posted here as there's more viewers :). Thanks!

You can gain more information by doing the following, ordered from hardest to easiest. 1: Read slower 2: find 'deeper meaning' websites that tell you everything about the story. 3: repeatingly read the story until it gets to your head.

PS this is meant for English.

Also, you can ask yourself questions about the story, like: 1: Where are the characters/What is the setting? 2: Who is the protagonist? 3: Who is the antagonist? 4: What is the conflict? 5: Who are the main characters? include the antagonist and protagonist. 6: What is the conflict? explain. 7: What did the protagonist do to solve the conflict? What happened from it? 8: What is the theme of the story? 9: How does the story end? explain.

If you want to read a story faster, but still gain more information, you would have to read in between, which is what I do, or use your finger and trace your finger under what you are reading... \(\it\large\ Glad~I~Could~Help~!\) \(\it\large\color{#00FF17}-\color{#00FF5C}S\color{#00FF8A}a\color{#00FFB8}m\color{#00FFE6}m\color{#00E6FF}i\color{#00CFFF}♥\)

what kind of things are you reading? if you are reading things like pomes then it is best to remember to not take things literal, like if if talks about light, it may mean light or it could mean understanding, or knowledge....I hope this helps
