First, chats should be removed:-

I have been experienced that many people come online only to chat; not to help people. Chats are distraction to many people. I, myself, come only to ask questions, but I can’t keep out of chats. My feelings kind of force me to chat with others which makes me chat for like 1-2 hours. Since I joined Open Study, my studies are all ruined even though I ask for help. People do help students but mostly with direct answers and not explanation as I have seen.

Second, more helpers needed in Geography (and other) section(s):-

Most people are math geniuses. People get help faster in Math course/subject than the rest. It takes minimum 1 or 2 days for 1 question to be answered in Geography section. People are tagged, but they just ignore it. If more than 13 people are tagged in one thread, they ask us to stop it. If I send a link of my question to someone in private message, they just don’t respond back and kind of ignore that too.

Open Study is the best virtual helping site I could find. And if someone solves those things I just mentioned above, it would be the best of the best. :D

It's just a fact that the geography is far less popular than mathematics. Can't do anything about that. Only solution would be asking in the chats for help. And I don't mean asking the question there (people ignore questions asked in the chat), you ask if someone is familiar with geography, then post the question URL. If you're lucky someone will help you.

One thing is for sure, we will not remove the chat. It's one of the things that makes OpenStudy so appealing.
