WILL FAN AND MEDAL You are playing a game with 2 dice. You roll the two dice and get a total of six. What is the probability that you will roll a total of 6 on your next roll. (hint: think of all of the combinations you can roll to get a 6) 1/36 5/216 6/216 5/120

OpenStudy (matt101):

The probability of rolling any combination for one roll is independent of any other roll. There are 5 ways to make 6 from two dice, and 36 possible combination that can be rolled. This means the probability of rolling a total of 6 is 5/36...but that's not one of your answers... Did you copy the question and answers correctly?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes, someone had told me the same thing earlier, but that's the exact choices

OpenStudy (matt101):

Hmm don't know what to tell you then...5/36 is the answer to the question as far as I can see.
