Simplify and write the answer using only positive exponents. -35 x^3 y^3/28 x^-2 y^7

OpenStudy (anonymous):

[-5x^(3+2)]/[4y^(7-3)] 35 and 28 have a common factor of 7 that cancels out. a negative exponent like 1/x^-2 becomes x^2 and then you just add. And 7 is bigger than3 so take it to the bottom and subtract.
