I argued.. that the current in the middle wire MUST be EMF / 2 = 4 /2 = 2 As and there fore F = i lB = 2 *1 * 2 = 4 N

But they said.. that the other resistors come into picture too the professor modelled the middle wire (f 2 ohmes) as a battery of emf 4 V and the 2 ohm being the internal resistance.. and then calculated the current in the circuit.. by reducing the circuirt |dw:1402230527504:dw|
