An object traveling in a straight line accelerates. What will definitely happen due to the acceleration

OpenStudy (jmcs1985):

Interesting, based on the question stem I answer that force will increase, as well as kinetic energy, and momentum.

OpenStudy (mikurout):

velocity will increase...

OpenStudy (jmcs1985):

Velocity will increase too, @mikurout - thanks friend! I forgot the obvious :P

OpenStudy (mikurout):

yes @jmcs1985 . welcome.

Using Newton's 2nd Law, mass = force x acceleration, if the object is accelerating, but the mass stays the same, there has to be a decrease in force.
