What is the formula for the volume of a cylinder?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

V=\[\Pi r^{2} h\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Volume= area of base*height The base is a circle, so the area of circle is Pir^2 therefore volume= Pir^2h

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So how would I solve this? DO NOT GIVE ME THE ANSWER?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Find the height of a cylinder whose volume is approximately 1,727 cu. in. and whose base radius is 5 in. (Use 3.14 for π.) A. 33 in. B. 24 in. C. 22 in. D. 11 in.

OpenStudy (paki):

take out "h" from the formula...? you know, how will you do so...?

OpenStudy (harsha19111999):
