OpenStudy (loser66):

if it is not true, then it 's false. :) :) :) where is the question???

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Loser66 just added it in !

OpenStudy (loser66):

true

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can you give me a little insight into why that is? @Loser66

OpenStudy (loser66):

hehehe I am waiting for this question. If you don't ask, I might not help you next time. :) Look at the rectangle in the middle, you have the width of it is 4, that means a =2 the length of it is 6 that means b =3 and we have the formula to find out the foci is c ^2 = a^2 +b^2 so that c =\(\pm \sqrt {a^2+b^2}= \pm\sqrt{2^2+3^2}= \pm \sqrt{13}\) therefore \(\pm (\sqrt{13},0)\) are the pair of focus

i literally just found that formula just as you posted that haa! thanks for the help though, you're the man!
