What should be measured to calculate the average rate at which the water in a cup cools?
Change in mass of water and time in which the mass changes Change in weight of water and time in which the weight changes Change in volume of water and time in which the volume changes Change in temperature of water and time in which the temperature changes
@undeadknight26
its the last choice... change in temperature over time
prove it :)
ok... so what is the question asking you to find? and it appears that each choice is over a time period...
Ok ill trust you :) can you help me with another one?
An inequality is shown below: -np - 6 ≤ 3(c - 5) Which of the following solves for n?
No wait i cant do answer choices because they are equations
-np - 6 ≤ 3(c - 5) -np - 6 ≤ 3c - 15 -np ≤ 3c - 9 I can get that far :)
well it becomes -np - 6 <= 3c - 15 add 6 to both sides -np <= 3c - 9 divide by -p and reverse the inequality n >= -3(c -3)/p
oh wow thats almost what I did :)
let me try writing the answer choices :) n ≥ - the quantity 3 times c minus 21 all over p n ≥ - the quantity 3 times c minus 9 all over p
ooooor.... n ≥ -(3c - 21)/p n ≥ -(3c - 9)/p
@campbell_st
the other two are not it because they are the same just the ≥ is the other way :)
well it looks like the 2nd choice n >= -(3c - 9)/p
oooh... cuz you miswrote the 9 for a 3 :P
no.. I factored the 3..
