I really need help! Determine whether the vectors u and v are parallel, orthogonal, or neither. u = <7, 2>, v = <21, 6>

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

What is v / 3?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh, and I know it's not neither. Someone told me that, and I got it wrong the first time.

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

You didn't answer the question. You are given u and v. What is v/3? Show me. It is a vector divided by a constant (scalar). What is the result?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Uhmm.. Ohhh.. Well, geez. Why could no one else make it that simple? 7, 2. So they are parallel?

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

That's it!!! I presume you managed v/3 = <21,6>/3 = <7,2> = u?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes! Thank you! You're fantastic. :DDD God bless you!
