Which of the following describes the relationship between x and y for a line that has a slope of zero? As x increases, y decreases. As x increases, y increases. As x increases, y remains the same. As y increases, x remains the same.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If the slope is 0, then your equation would look like this: y=0x. Anything multiplied by 0 is 0, so the y coordinate would always be nothing. If x is 8, y is 0. If x is -3876982, y is 0. So x will increase, but y will always stay the same. If you graph your line, it would always be on the x axis.
