I have a quite specific question, in french why do they say "Je t'en offre 150 bucks" instead of "je t'offre .... "?

OpenStudy (vincent-lyon.fr):

"Je t'offre..." means "I give you 150 bucks" full stop. Like your grandmother would give you money for your holidays. "Je t'en offre..." means "I give you 150 bucks for this item". It is a transaction, and you are ready to buy the item for the price you are stating.

Whoa, thanks dude!
