How do I do this?? Write two newspaper headlines one for the Northern newspaper and one for the Southern newspaper, as they would have appeared the day after the election of 1860

OpenStudy (anonymous):

this is easy, the north favored Lincoln, so your head line would be positive, the south didn't so it would be negative.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok so the south did not because President Lincoln was against slavery but, the south did not like that correct?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the south wanted to keep their slaves, so they didn't favor Lincoln.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok and the North favored Lincoln because they agreed with him and were against slavery as well right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well, a majority of them for the most part, so yes :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok Thank you! :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you could say " "VICTORY FOR LINCOLN AND THE FUTURE IS LOOKING BRIGHTER FOR ALL MANKIND"

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Could you please help me with some ideas for the headlines?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok Thanks

OpenStudy (anonymous):

then your negative one could say "CHAOS SURROUNDING AMERICA, LOSS OF FREE LABOR IS CREATING ECONOMIC TROUBLES IN THE SOUTH"

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Wow that sounds great Thanks! :)
