does any one know how to realize if the curve is going below x axis such as in y=e^3x-2

which is the function u talking about??? : \(\huge y=e^{3x-2} \) or \(\huge y=e^{3x}-2 \) ???

in any case, \(\large y=e^{f(x)} \) will always be above the x-axis with the x-axis being a horizontal asymptote. notice in the second case, you have the "-2" which translates the whole graph 2 units downwards...
