OpenStudy (anonymous):
this is the last problem we are stuck on, please help... using quadratic formula... A car traveled 60 miles at a certain speed. Then is traveled 50 miles at a speed 10 MPH less. If the total time for the trip was 2 hours what was the speed of the first part of the trip? we got 60 but when we check that as the answer it doesn't work
