@ganeshie8 @Compassionate @hartnn @Miracrown

Miracrown (miracrown):

At first glance, I agree with A, C, and D - let me double check on B

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

Miracrown (miracrown):

Actually, it appears that B is correct - the Tiahuanaco of Bolivia did create massive carvings on the shore of Lake Titicaca. Do you have any thoughts on which one is NOT true, knowing that B is actually correct?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

um im thinking a or d

Miracrown (miracrown):

Well, what do you know about Peru's first advanced civilization - do you remember anything from your class' lecture or reading about them?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

um not really

Miracrown (miracrown):

Unfortunately, I can't seem to find any information on this question because all of my research points me to the conclusion that all of these answer choices are correct. Besides that, history is not my area of expertise. So you'd be better of with getting help from an history expert like @Nurali

OpenStudy (conqueror):

Lol, Nurali isn't a history expert

OpenStudy (conqueror):

When he helped me, he got a lot of questions wrong

Miracrown (miracrown):

@it_meh_miranda, I am finding that Peru's first advanced civilization did build mounds for perhaps religious purposes.... I'm thinking they did not build terraces to raise crop The Andes are some of the tallest, starkest mountains in the world. Yet the Incas, and the civilizations before them, coaxed harvests from the Andes’ sharp slopes and intermittent waterways. They developed resilient breeds of crops such as potatoes, quinoa and corn. I am 100% sure that B and C are true I am thinking that D may be a little vague ... D does not specify which advanced civilization Although they did build terraces to raise crops.... I'm thinking that this may have came later after the "First" advanced civilization.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

Miracrown (miracrown):

The Aztecs did rule a large area through warfare... but I'm not sure about a system of tribute or what that is actually referring to If I had to take a best guess.... I would choose D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok thank you

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok
