Allah uses a microscope to look at slides of onion cells. The slides show the stages of the cell cycle. The slides are labeled and in the correct order, starting with interphase. In which slide would Allah first see chromosomes? A. prophase B. anaphase C. telophase D. cytokinesis
why metaphase is not an option...?
idk
I think in anaphase
If metaphse is and option then the answer is metaphase or else it is anaphase to see chromosomes clearly..
why not prophase ?
just nuclear dissociation occurs in the prophase stage so the chromosome will not be so clear as they appear like threads so the answer given is anaphase only...
thread like structures are called as chromatin fibres but not exactly chromosomes and chromosomes are really very clear in metaphase and anaphase
again telophase nuclear association takes place so not visible..
In prophase chromatin fibres condense to form chromosomes :(
@deepika.comet
yeah that is only in late prophase but not in early prophase Metaphase is the exact phase where you can see the different karyotype of the chromosomes present in the cell also...
but its prophase
in anaphase chromosomes splits into sister chromatids
Question asks in which phase allah will be able to see chromosomes first
I think it should be prophase
yeah but chromosomal structure is clearly visible onlly in metaphase i say not in prophase but the option is not given... so anaphase..
yes that's true but the answer should go prophase here
ok go with it...:)
