HOW CAN I GRAPH THIS? X=7SINt+SIN7t Y=7COSt+COS7t

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@mathmale @mathwizkevin18 ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Here's a plot of the function: http://www.wolframalpha.com/input/?i=parametric+plot+x%3D7Sin%5Bt%5D%2BSin%5B7t%5D%2C+y%3D7Cos%5Bt%5D%2BCos%5B7t%5D There's no way to express it in rectangular form (i.e. y as a function of x or vice versa), so eliminating the parameter isn't possible. To plot it by hand, you could plug in values of \(t\).

alright good tip! i had no idea how to approach it...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so what values.... can i use the one in the graph you plotted for me?
