Matrix multiplication Problem http://i.imgur.com/FTTCy5r.png I got these formulas not sure what to do with them, was thinking about setting them up in a matrix but they are not linear equations so that is probably not a valid solution. I have factorized and can set c = 0 not sure what to do next

OpenStudy (australopithecus):

So if I set a = 0, c = 0 I'm left with equations, 2bd + 3 = 9 2d^2 + 3 = 9

OpenStudy (australopithecus):

Oh I just set b = d

OpenStudy (australopithecus):

then I have 3d^2 + 2d = 9

OpenStudy (australopithecus):

find the roots and I have my solution

OpenStudy (amistre64):

2m^2 + 3m - 9=0 (m /2)(m /2) (m+6/2)(m-3/2) (m+3)(2m-3) = 0 m = -3, or 2m = 3 hmmm, i was curious if there was a way to relate that to an answer, but im coming up blank :/

OpenStudy (amistre64):

otherwise, your approach is valid enough

OpenStudy (australopithecus):

thanks for the help
